Michigan's Cat facility in Kalkaska only takes care of heavy construction equipment, but it is their main hub for servicing large engines that run and maintain drilling and mining operations all over the world. These engines need to be overhauled after so many hours of run time. This construction project of 2015 was to build a 13,000 SF Pre-Engineered maintenance shop where the equipment can be sent to be overhauled and tested on a dyno system that was also put in place as part of this building project.
